“I have heard your prayer and seen your tears”

“Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘Thus says the Lord , the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years. – Isaiah 38:5 NKJV.

King Hezekiah was about to die and he cries out to God. God responds, “I have heard your prayer and seen your tears”. It is very significant that it is given in that order. God hears the prayer and then sees the tears. When you cry out to the Lord, He hears your prayers. The Bible says that even before we ask, God already knows what we are about to ask. Then follows the tears. The spirit cries out and then the flesh releases the tears.

Today I want to assure you that all your prayers are heard by the Lord. Every tear shed is seen by the Lord. No tear falls to the floor and is absorbed into the ground without the Lord seeing it. Though you may feel like your prayer is hitting the ceiling and bouncing back or you may feel your tears are wasted, do not be deceived for your God hears and sees all.
The understanding you need to take out of this is , the timing of God is answering your prayer. Sometimes like in this scripture, God answered immediately but other times there is a wait. There is a season set aside for everything and we need to wait upon the Lord. Just because you don’t see a sign or you don’t feel something or don’t receive any confirmation, it does not mean God did not hear your prayer. Never give up on trusting that God will answer your prayer. God bless.
