Live A Joyful Life!

Pure Glory

by Hazel Straub

Yahweh chose you to live in this time and season. He knew this was your time to live and overcome. He has a special plan and destiny for you. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT)

Speak to the mountain that opposes you and keeps you from fulfilling what God has for you. Decree itremoved and cast it down, with no doubt or unbelief. Then you will live in resurrection power, with no obstruction to your experiencing a joyful life of worship and praise to Yahweh, who is more than enough for all your needs. New doors that you never imagined will open for you, to walk through into new realms and opportunity that he planned for you. Rejoice in the Lord!

Prayers from the Bible (22 Apr)

Prayers of worshipThen Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. “There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.”1 Samuel … Continue reading Prayers from the Bible (22 Apr)

NOT TRY, TRUST

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith [our ability to confidently trust in God and in His power].”Luke 17:5 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There is a reason we need to humbly request the Lord to increase our faith.

The number one reason is because as we increase our faith (which means trust) in our Beloved we get to know Him ,love Him and worship Him more and more thereby getting ever closer to Him.

The number two reason is that when our faith increases so too does our confidence in the Lord whenever satan comes a knocking. Having confidence in the Lord terrifies satan and his minions. Number three is because when others observe our faith it is a great witness to the power of Christ. This is a powerful witnessing tool.

Show me the way, Lord, let my light shine As an example of…

A Worship Manifesto

Mitch Teemley

I previously served as Director of Worship at a large church. Near the end of my first year I presented this Manifesto to my team. Easter Week seems like a good time to pass it along to others, especially anyone involved in leading worship.

We’re called to love God with our whole being (Deuteronomy 6:5). We should worship that way too. But how? Here are Seven Points that can help us fulfill our calling as worship leaders:

Get the order right.Paul Baloche reminds us that “the flow (of a worship service) begins in the heart.” We must seek God in every aspect of our lives, and then continue our worship by drawing others into His presence. People should see Him in us, and say, “I want that, too!”

Worship is a response. It doesn’t begin with us. The key Bible words for worship are reactions: Shachah (Hebrew) means to…

Worship And Praise To My Creator

Pure Glory

by Hazel Straub

My eyes I lift to the Maker of heaven and earth
My focus on his forgiveness and goodness births
A new altitude and attitude with greater gratitude
There is no place for depression, moods or platitudes

I lift my eyes out of the mundane and routine
No greater love, mercy and grace ever seen
The horizon clouds of despair, gloom and doom
Disappear in the presence of our Bridegroom

My eyes behold his loving care and provision
His presence and nearness breaks fear’s prison
He never, not ever, forsakes or leaves me stranded
His angels protect and minister as he commanded

Lifting my eyes and behold his radiant beauty
His glory surrounds and clothes me like rubies
My uplifted vision has changed my position
As  I give him all my worship and recognition
