Jesus in the Ancient Hebrew Alphabet Part 13 – The Lamed

The Agapegeek Blog

(Ver 1.1) This lesson is “Part 13” in the Bible study series revealing the Lord Jesus Christ, that was being hidden by the Spirit of God in His design of the Ancient Hebrew Alphabet. This is a truly amazing subject of immense revelation. If you have not read this series from the beginning, it is highly recommended that you go and do so with “Part 1” first. There is just too much information that has been given in each lesson that cannot be fully repeated in the others. Please also understand that “advanced spiritual lessons” from the word of God are potentially offensive to the unsaved, immature carnal, or newly born Christian. If you do not feel you are a spiritually growing and mature believer in Christ, please judge yourself and consider if it is your desire not to be hurt no matter what is said…

Refusing to Go In

And he was angry, and would not go in Luk_15:28 An Inexhaustible ParableI have often spoken on this beautiful parable, and I hope often to speak on it again. It is so full of teaching and so full of hope that in a lifetime one could not exhaust it. I think I have even spoken … Continue reading Refusing to Go In

The Top 10 Enemies To Salvation! Why People Don’t Get Saved!

The Agapegeek Blog

(Ver 1.1)  There are a countless number of enemies to salvation.  I want to address the Bible reasons for why people do not get saved.  Maybe you did not realize it, but salvation is not automatic.  Just because God wants you to be saved, does not mean you are saved.  If you read the Bible and study it very carefully you will discover that whatever God has freely given to man, man is required to do something to enjoy it.  So salvation is a partnership agreement between you and God.  God initiated salvation by His grace and you receive it by your faith.  I hope that you understand that concept because it is a spiritual law and is a pattern for how things work in the Bible from cover to cover.

Act 28:28  Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and

Understanding Spiritual Warfare! The Battle within and the Battle without!

In Revelation 1:162:1619:15 and 19:21 Jesus is described as having a sword coming from His mouth that He uses to eliminate those that oppose Him in the end of the world.  We can clearly understand that this symbolic sword represents the Words of God being spoken.  To take the Sword of the Spirit in our armor means to speak what God has written in His book called the Bible.  When you speak the Word of God your words carry the same power as if God spoke them.  For example, if someone is coming against you in an attack, you could say “No weapon formed against me will prosper” (Isa 54:17).  This is putting the Word of God in your mouth to counter what Satan is trying to do against you.  You do not go up and say this to a human being, remember they are not your problem.  You say this in the privacy of your home to Satan who is the root cause of the attack.  Do you understand this?

The Agapegeek Blog

(Ver 1.3)  This is “Part 1” in a series of lessons on the subject of “Spiritual Warfare”.  This is a new subject for me and a lesson designed for the benefit of those who have been attacked by Satan and do not understand why it has occurred or what to do about it to keep it from happeing again.   Many new Christians are immediately attacked and persecuted because Satan wants to stop God’s Word from developing in their spirits and becoming mature and fruitful.  New Christians are the most vulnerable and usually do not know what to do about this and do not generally understand why God even allows this to even happen to them.  There are many complex factors involved in understanding this problem and I will attempt to at least give you an overview of what is happening in the spiritual realm and why it can occur and what you can…

Does God Cause Some People’s Hearts to Be Hard? What About Pharaoh?

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Eze 36:26

Do you know this scripture is talking about you?  If you are a Christian, you have this new heart available to you right now!  Did you notice that God said I will take out your “Stony” heart?   Isn’t a “stony” heart a formerly hard hearted person?  This again can be taken incorrectly, as something that God is solely responsible for making happen.  Some people still think like God is the spiritual surgeon who does a spiritual heart transplant surgical procedure in every believer!   But, that would not be a good interpretation of this verse based upon what we have learned.  God says I will replace your stony heart with a soft tender heart of flesh.

The Agapegeek Blog

(Ver 1.4)  This is the Part 1 in an important series of Bible lessons addressing the primary subject of Extreme Predestination.  Many times people read things into the Bible missing what God actually says to make their own independent wrong assumptions.  Ignoring all of the words written on one subject they simultaneously jump to the wrong conclusions based upon selective reading.   Today’s Bible lesson will be a prime example of this type of error in wrong Bible interpreation.  Reading the Bible in isolation and not allowing God to interpret the Bible is one of the most dangerous approaches to take in Bible interpretation.  The Bible will always explain the Bible, but we are required to search the Bible in order to find these explanations.  The explations are not going to come to you and fall into your lap.   I once talked to a man who had graduated from an unnamed theological seminary, who claimed that God causes some people to…

Traps and Pitfalls, Common Mistakes in Bible Interpretation!

For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

Gal 6:3

Any man or woman that has a teenager type attitude of thinking very highly of themselves  and their knowledge has already deceived themselves.

The Agapegeek Blog

(Ver 1.4)  In today’s Bible lesson I will discuss some of the common mistakes thattoo many  people fall into when attempting to read and understand the Bible.  If you can grasp these concepts it will help you tremendously in understanding the true meanings found in the Bible.  I will give you a list of six or seven things that people tend to do that results in erroneous interpretations.  By avoiding these common tricks, traps and pitfalls that the enemy Satan uses to distract, deceive and confuse us, we can help to avoid being tricked into the common pitfalls of deception and then we can continue to strive to walk in the paths of rightly diveded truths to learn what God desires for us to know today.

NO PRIVATE INTERPETATIONS

This is probably the number one pitfall to erroneous Bible teaching.  It is absolutely esstential to let the Bible interpret itself.  In the Bible, God tells…

Understanding Satan’s Abilities! Can Satan Read Your Mind?

The Agapegeek Blog

(Ver 1.4)  This will be an extremely complex Bible study today of a highly spiritual nature about the spiritual abilities of your enemy Satan.  We will explore many difficult and different scriptures found in the Bible that help us to see the truth.  In studying your enemy you should learn both his strengths and his weaknesses so that you can be better prepared when he comes to tempt, test or attack you.   Satan is definitely this enemy that I am talking about if you are a Christian.  God tells us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood (people) but the principalities, powers and the rulers of the darkness of this world and the spiritual wicked in high places (Eph 6:12).   The Bible clearly tells us that we are in a spiritual warfare with a spiritual enemy that we cannot see.  Since we do not perceive Satan…

Six Things Satan Doesn’t Want You To Know About Himself

The Agapegeek Blog

(ver 1.7)  This Part 1 in a series of Bible lessons about things that Satan does not want you know about him.  Satan in the Bible is called by so many different names, titles, characteristics, symbols and descriptions.  Each one of these that were given to us by God reveal Satan in a new way for us to learn from.  For example, in Revelation 12:9 the name Satan is given to us and it is directly linked to be the symbolic “Great Red Dragon” in the book of Revelation.  Satan is then further revealed as the “ancient serpent” in Genesis 3:1 in the same verse.  Since Satan is called both the serpent in the garden in Genesis and now the Great Dragon in Revelation we learn from these two symbolic titles that he has gained significant power and strength.  But maybe you did not know that and learned something brand new.   In other places in the Bible Satan…

In the Last Days Knowledge Shall Increase!

The Agapegeek Blog

(Ver 1.4)  This is Part 1 on the subject of God’s Knowledge in the Bible.  I always try to teach how important it is in correct Bible interpretation to be open to new ideas, thoughts and to things that maybe you haven’t ever heard  or considered before.  Why do you think that this type of noble attitude might be important to have while studying the Bible?  I think if for no other reason, it is based upon the factor of human ignorance and that we are not God who knows it all.  We as ignorant humans still have a lot left to learn from our God.  If you think that you know it all, or at least that you already know all that you need to know, you are already potentially deceived into believing a lie.  Satan I believe wants you to think that you are smarter than you really are.  Whenever this deception occurs you…
