What is Truth?

Bible Reading: John 18:19-38 Jesus made a profound statement when He said to Pilate, “I have come into the world, to testify to the truth” [John 18:37]. Pilate responded with cynicism [the Amplified Bible uses the word scornfully, asking, “What is truth?” Although spoken with cynicism by Pilate, it is nevertheless, a vital question, and … Continue reading What is Truth?

Toegrus Met ‘n Doel

Hierdie oomblik was … Continue reading Toegrus Met ‘n Doel

In the Last Days Knowledge Shall Increase!

The Agapegeek Blog

(Ver 1.4)  This is Part 1 on the subject of God’s Knowledge in the Bible.  I always try to teach how important it is in correct Bible interpretation to be open to new ideas, thoughts and to things that maybe you haven’t ever heard  or considered before.  Why do you think that this type of noble attitude might be important to have while studying the Bible?  I think if for no other reason, it is based upon the factor of human ignorance and that we are not God who knows it all.  We as ignorant humans still have a lot left to learn from our God.  If you think that you know it all, or at least that you already know all that you need to know, you are already potentially deceived into believing a lie.  Satan I believe wants you to think that you are smarter than you really are.  Whenever this deception occurs you…

Number three is because when others observe our faith it is a great witness to the power of Christ. This is a powerful witnessing tool.

Show me the way, Lord, let my light shine As an example of…

Unpopular Truth

How Deep The Father’s Love For Us

If a truth is unpopular, often it is a sign that it calls for our closer scrutiny of why it may be unpopular. Is it because it is not truth? Or, more importantly, is it because it causes a general discomfort in many? If it is discomforting, it begs our investigation into WHY do so many find it uncomfortable? Often we find that it is discomforting because so many prefer anything that makes them feel good over truth. Even if it is a false sense of well-being. The burgeoning drug/alcohol culture bears witness.  -g.w

What does ‘Many are called but few are chosen’ in Matthew 22:14 mean?”

This statement is the conclusion to the Parable of the Wedding Feast. Jesus spoke this parable to show what the kingdom of heaven will be like when the end of the age comes. In the…
