The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith [our ability to confidently trust in God and in His power].”Luke 17:5 The Holy Bible Amplified Version
There is a reason we need to humbly request the Lord to increase our faith.
The number one reason is because as we increase our faith (which means trust) in our Beloved we get to know Him ,love Him and worship Him more and more thereby getting ever closer to Him.
The number two reason is that when our faith increases so too does our confidence in the Lord whenever satan comes a knocking. Having confidence in the Lord terrifies satan and his minions. Number three is because when others observe our faith it is a great witness to the power of Christ. This is a powerful witnessing tool.
Show me the way, Lord, let my light shine As an example of…

How Deep The Father’s Love For Us
If a truth is unpopular, often it is a sign that it calls for our closer scrutiny of why it may be unpopular. Is it because it is not truth? Or, more importantly, is it because it causes a general discomfort in many? If it is discomforting, it begs our investigation into WHY do so many find it uncomfortable? Often we find that it is discomforting because so many prefer anything that makes them feel good over truth. Even if it is a false sense of well-being. The burgeoning drug/alcohol culture bears witness. -g.w
What does ‘Many are called but few are chosen’ in Matthew 22:14 mean?”
This statement is the conclusion to the Parable of the Wedding Feast. Jesus spoke this parable to show what the kingdom of heaven will be like when the end of the age comes. In the…

1... God ons Verlosser en van Christus … Continue reading ’n Loodgieter se hoop
Forgiveness is not just a religious thing,
It’s for Everyone who wants to be emotionally and spiritually Free
I can choose to replay hurtful scenarios in my mind or I can choose to let it go and forgive for the sake of my well being.
I know its easier said then done but seriously if you think about it , replaying hurtful things in your mind and carrying bitterness everywhere you go – sounds more miserable.
Forgiveness is not a one time thing , it’s a daily process.
Choosing every day to forgive is another step closer to complete freedom .
Forgiving yourself is important too
This is something I struggle with daily .. I am quite hard on myself but all it does is ruin my peace and joy.
All humanity is flawed
We have to understand we are imperfect people..this will give us room to have compassion for…

Payte Johnson The gospel is the most valuable thing we have. Ironically, the gospel comes to us as a gift. No gift has benefited us like this one. Neither has any gift ever asked so much of us. Frankly, it’s aggravating to see many Christians keeping their Christianity for Sundays only. For many, there’s no … Continue reading The Free Gift that Costs You Everything
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. - 1 Peter 5:8-9 Satan is no play or pretend thing. He and … Continue reading Resist him (Satan).
It’s strange how certain activities trigger memories that unlock a world I have yet to understand. Physical actions gently push my mind, nudging my world closer to the words that I struggle to comprehend. Words that need to find a place in my heart. Require a practical understanding so I can relate to them in my own way. So I can learn to pronounce, remember and recognise them. To understand what they mean to me and others. I need that word to become visual almost tactile to revival something of it’s self to me. It’s a slow often frustrating way of learning. Taking time with just one word, allowing it to guide me in practical way.
The word Koinonia came into my life this week. I must have heard it before but for some reason I locked onto the word and tried to unpick what it means to me.

(Philippians 4:13 AMP- I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency.)
When we’re feeling troubled, weak, and torn or let down our first thought or initial assessment is usually not that we’re positioned in a place of eternal strength. In all honesty, our initial response emotionally is usually a sense of brokenness, hopelessness, and despair. But The Word of God says, when we’re at our lowest and weakest point, that’s when we’re able to truly experience the perfection that is His grace; that’s when we’re able too see the strength and glory of Christ come to fruition in it’s greatest form within our lives. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NOG- But He told me: “My kindness is all you need. My power is strongest when you…
