There is a reason we need to humbly request the Lord to increase our faith.
The number one reason is because as we increase our faith (which means trust) in our Beloved we get to know Him ,love Him and worship Him more and more thereby getting ever closer to Him.
The number two reason is that when our faith increases so too does our confidence in the Lord whenever satan comes a knocking. Having confidence in the Lord terrifies satan and his minions. Number three is because when others observe our faith it is a great witness to the power of Christ. This is a powerful witnessing tool.
