But without faith how can I receive anything of the Lord?
"Strong in faith." (Romans 4:20) Christian, take good care of thy faith; for recollect faith is the only way whereby thou canst obtain blessings. If we want blessings from God, nothing can fetch them down but faith. Prayer cannot draw down answers from God's throne except it be the earnest prayer of the man who … Continue reading But without faith how can I receive anything of the Lord?
The Battle Is God’s Not Yours
by Hazel Straub
The battle belongs to you, my God of Peace and Lord
In your love I rest, not in the might of flashing sword
Safe from the trial of distressful battle, my fears depart
Your embrace heals, consoles, all of my wounded heart
You are my strength, comfort, help, and shield
The battle won by trust in your love, as I yield
I rest in you, enjoying the comfort of your breast
Letting all my fears and anxiety go, while I rest
My confidence is in you for victory is sure
You give me vision and provision is assured
The guarantee in you comes in tranquil trust
No need for me to run, fret or frantically rush
You make me peaceful, comforted, whole and complete
Broken places healed, I’m soothed, filled full and replete
You are my rest, restoration, refreshment and health
My prosperity comes by faith and…

Forgive Yourself And Begin Again
Dear Someone,
This letter is for you, you that is looking back at your life in regret instead of looking forward. You that is looking back at your life and can’t identify the person that you have become. You that is looking back at your life and realizing that in a quest of making everyone around happy, you have lost yourself. For everyone that’s looking back at their lives and seeing a series of mistakes and sins, for everyone that’s looking back at 2018 and thinking that 2019 will just get worse up the same, this letter is for you. I don’t know if you are a follower, but I am glad you stumbled on this letter. It’s also a letter for me, to realize how much I have done and what I have become.

You’re Never Disadvantaged
Dear Someone,
This letter is for you. You that is deeply hurt, you that have been loved less by those you expected to love you the most. You that have been let down by your family. You that was gracefully broken at a time you had no control over your emotions. You that have been a victim of real love but in bad timing. You that have received more rejections than acceptances. You that have received more rejections because of your address than your age and weight combined, this letter is for you.

Commit And Trust In The LORD
by Hazel Straub
Before you do anything, commit yourself to the Lord and trust completely in Him. Then your thinking conforms to God’s thinking. As a result, what you do will succeed.
Before you do anything,
put your trust totally in God and not in yourself.
Then every plan you make will succeed. (Proverbs 16:3 TPT)

“It is a faithful saying.”
"It is a faithful saying."—2 Timothy 2:11 Paul has four of these "faithful sayings." The first occurs in 1 Timothy 1:15, "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." The next is in 1 Timothy 4:6, "Godliness is profitable unto all things, having … Continue reading “It is a faithful saying.”
Peace Be Still
by Hazel Straub
Ever notice how fear will immobilize you? The more you think about whatever causes you to be fearful, the less you think about the greatness, faithfulness and love of God. You feed the fear and all rational thought exits. The key to living victoriously, is taking worry, anxiety and fear captive, replacing it with thoughts of how much God loves and cares for you. Don’t feed fear, instead think on God is your help and strength.
For though we live as human beings, we do not wage war according to human standards, for the weapons of our warfare are not human weapons, but are made powerful by God for tearing down strongholds. We tear down arguments and every arrogant obstacle that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to make it obey Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NET)
