To Say Something or Not to Say Anything…That is the Question.

Who is God?

Yesterday, I was out with my oldest daughter. We had a good time together shopping for crafty things. I mentioned what I read in someone’s blog about how Christians want to “fix” other people. She then told me how mad it has made her through the years when I have tried to “fix” her.

“Remember when I told you I don’t read the Bible and you wrote me a letter?”

 I said, “Yes.”

“Well that upset me. I just delete things you write me about religion. You have your relationship with God your way and I have my relationship my way.”

I felt really bad and told her I was sorry. I told her I was always terrified she wouldn’t be saved and I knew that faith comes by hearing the Word of God.

Going piano.

cancer killing recipe

I was rushing all my life.
But now the pain in my joints is forcing me to slow down.
And I like it.
Not a pain but slowing down. 🙂

Going slow I’m avoiding tripping, falling down and breaking my old aching bones.
And I have time to think where I’m going, why I’m going there and what I will do when I get there. 🙂

Sure, I can hurry up if there is emergency.
Than I will forget the pain and I will do whatever have to be done under the circumstances.

This old Italian Proverb explains why going slow is better:

Chi va piano
Va sano
Va lontano

Means: He who go slowly
Goes healthy
And goes far

So slow down if you want to go sano and go lontano. 🙂

And someone Anonymous said:
Slow down happiness is trying to catch you.

One way of writing it looks like this: “peithesthe tois hēgoumenois hymōn kai hypeikete autoi gar agrypnousin hyper tōn psychōn hymōn hōs logon apodōsontes hina meta charas touto poiōsin kai mē stenazontes alysiteles gar hymin touto”

As a version of this: Πείθεσθε…
